Overnight Care for Out-of-Town Patients

In the past, traveling out of state for plastic surgery may have seemed cumbersome and simply impossible. However, with today's advances in communication technology and the strong support team at Maffi Plastic Surgery, flying in for your procedure is not only a reality, but can be extremely desirable. In fact, many of our patients fly in from out of state for their surgery and have found the process quite easy and manageable. The Scottsdale/ Paradise Valley area is a premiere vacation destination offering its visitors 325-plus days of sunshine each year. Although out of town patients come for surgery, their loved ones can enjoy the golf, luxury spas, shopping, outdoor activities, and fine dining. With more than 80 resorts, 170 golf courses, and 500 restaurants, many people come to enjoy their post- surgery recovery in Scottsdale each year.

The consultation process for out of town patients can be tailored to meet each individual's needs. Some patients choose to fly in for the consultation and return for surgery. For others, you may email us a photograph of the body area you would like to improve. After an initial conversation with one of our staff members, Dr. Maffi will review the photos and arrange a telephone consultation. At that time, Dr. Maffi will discuss your surgical options and answer all of your questions over the phone. Most patients arrive a few days prior to surgery and we typically ask that you remain in town for approximately seven to 10 days after surgery.

Every effort is made to maintain your comfort and privacy at all times. Maffi Plastic Surgery is continually striving to ensure your surgical experience exceeds your expectations and that you are afforded every opportunity to achieve the greatest results possible.

Maffi Plastic Surgery and a number of local area hotels have joined forces to offer you the best overnight accommodations to ensure your postoperative comfort. We are available to personally assist out of town patients in making recommendations for their travel and lodging arrangements. In addition, we are pleased to have our private driver provide transportation for you, your family and caregivers to and from the airport, our office and surgery center.

Should you desire, Maffi Plastic Surgery can arrange for a Registered Nurse or a medical assistant to stay with you after your surgery. The assistant can take care of your post-surgical needs and will monitor your early recovery.
