Terry Maffi, MD, a Paradise Valley plastic surgeon, has earned the prestigious honor of being named one of the area's finest physicians. PHOENIX magazine's "Top Doctor" designation is determined through a survey of 5,000 randomly selected Phoenix area physicians. The survey asks these medical, osteopathic, and naturopathic doctors to nominate physicians who, in their judgment, are the best in their field. Only board-certified physicians are considered for "Top Doctor" status. The editorial staff of PHOENIX magazine then performs background checks to eliminate any nominees with malpractice convictions or ethical lapses.

Dr. Terry Maffi was again named the recipient of a 2012 Patients' Choice Award. This award is given to America's favorite doctors, as voted by their own patients. Dr. Maffi was recognized for making a difference in his patients' lives by providing excellent plastic surgery in Phoenix. Dr. Maffi scored near-perfect ratings in the categories of: bedside manner, doctor-patient face time, follow-up care, office staff's courtesy and overall patient opinion. Only 5 percent of the nation's 830,000 active physicians received this award in 2012. Dr. Maffi has received this award every year since 2008.
